Dear Class of 2030,
Welcome to campus! I am so excited that you’re here, and I look forward to working with you throughout your time at Wesleyan!
Campus is filled with the excitement and energy of welcoming you to the Wesleyan community. As you get settled, I want to share a few resources and upcoming events that can help you get connected and navigate around campus and Middletown.
Transportation options:
WesPass Program: River Valley Transit buses are FREE for students! Just show your WesID when you hop on a bus and you’re good to go. You can also find information about the XtraMile program , a ride sharing service that anyone can use to get around in downtown Middletown, Connecticut, and to and from 17 additional stops.
Upcoming Events:
Wesleyan has planned many activities beyond orientation to help you get connected. Visit WesNest to learn about upcoming events and programs, including those scheduled for Wesleyan Weeks of Welcome (WesWOW). Below are some programs that I recommend you check out:
Campus Job Fair; Wednesday, September 9
Better Bystander Brunch; Friday, September 11
Student Involvement Fair; Friday, September 11
Plan for Success; Wednesday, September 16
I look forward to meeting you throughout orientation!!
