A message from ITS: Password Change

Some members of the Class of 2030 may have received this message below. Please pay careful attention and follow the instructions as outlined by ITS.

Dear Wesleyan students,

Given the elevated cybersecurity risks to higher education in general and to our Wesleyan systems in particular, all University users are required to reset their passwords by noon Wednesday, August 12.

To change your password, please go to WesPortal, click the menu in the top right corner, and select “Change Password.” If you do not reset your password by noon on August 12, your password will be changed on your behalf. To regain access, when you try to sign into your Wesleyan account, please select “Forgot your password?” and follow the instructions.

If you require assistance, please call
860-685-4000
during regular business hours.

We encourage you to complete this process as soon as possible to avoid any disruption to your access. We have prepared some answers to frequently asked questions.

Thank you for your cooperation in helping Wesleyan maintain the security of our network. As a reminder, you should never use your Wesleyan password for other accounts, nor re-use old passwords.
